In 2020, my partner Kevin and I decided to elope during a motor homing holiday in Marlborough. We found Rachel, an incredible Blenheim celebrant, who made our whole experience effortless, even with last-minute weather and venue changes. Thanks to Rachel, our day was wonderful and created lasting memories.
My own journey to becoming a celebrant began unexpectedly two and a half years ago when a lovely young woman I had known since she was a little girl asked me if I could officiate her wedding. That’s when it struck me - how fulfilling it would be to help couples create their own magical moments.
With a passion for people, details and a way with words I’m dedicated to crafting, with you, the ceremony of your dreams.

Requirements
You
We need you both!
I'll need you to provide me with a copy of a valid photo ID and if you have previously been married, I will also need the proof of dissolution.
License
You will need to order + pay for the Marriage Licence yourselves within 3 months of your wedding date. The Licence costs $158 (+ $35 for a Marriage Certificate) and both can be ordered here.
Witnesses
You must have two witnesses present with us on the day. It’s entirely up to you who you’d like to have as your witnesses, and they can be pretty much anyone you want.
Vows
Whether you'd like to write a long, heartfelt letter or say the least amount possible, there are a few specific words that myself & the witnesses will need to hear you say.
